A television studio room is an installation in which TV content or Video productions take place, either for the recording of live television to video tape, or for the acquisition of raw footage for post-production. The design of a TV studio is similar to movie studios, with a few special requirements of television production, for example

  • Decoration sets
  • Professional video camera on Tripod
  • Microphones
  • Lighting rigs and the associated controlling equipment.
  • Video monitors for visual feedback from the Studio control room (SCR)
  • A glass window between SCR and studio room for direct visual contact is usually desired, but not always possible

A professional television studio room generally has several rooms, which are kept separate for noise and practicality reasons. These rooms are connected via intercom, and personnel will be divided among these workplaces.
